📌Dr. Colm McAindriu, author of one of the best nonfiction books, "Man of the House: A Memoir," is based on the author's life as a black kid living in the Jim Crow Mississippi Delta. His mother forced him to help her raise her remaining twelve children after crowning him the Man of the House since his father left them. He graduated from Broad Street High School on May 19, 1963. He went to the military after leaving Chicago in 1963 and later obtained two doctorate degrees. In his research, he is passionately focused on self-realization as a life purpose.
